The competion!

My heart felt heavy.
It was hard for me to breath.
My fingers were shivering.

"Here." Daniel said, giving me gum.

"Thank you, gum makes me calm down.Chocolate makes me nervous" I told him.

I could tell he was nervous.

We were next.

"You look beautiful." Rodger complimented me after they did my make-up.

"Up next, from the busy state of New York, SHINING STARS!" The host announced.

The duet was first.

"Good luck" Rodger said. Pressing his lips against my forehead.

Me and Daniel went upstage.

We got into positions with the background dancers.

I held his hand and took a deep breath.

The pulled the long navy curtains up and cued the music.

"Suddenly, My choice is clear. I knew only when you and I were standing here." I sang
"And beautiful, is all I see." Daniel sang.
" It's only you I know it's true. It has to be." We sang together.

I sang the rest of the song, calm and confident.

I looked at the crowd.

A blonde girl was holding a "GO BELLA" poster.
A redheaded girl next to her had a "SHINING STARS" poster.
And a burnette-ish girl cheering.


I looked harder. They seemed like Bethie, Gracelynne, and Ruthie.

I smiled harder and my duet finished.

Then was Miranda with her solo, it was AMAZING.

We sang Telephone together.

Then the other school went. They were... really good.

I got really nervous.

"Now if you may, all schools in stage please."

We held hands.

I tightly held Miranda's and Rodger's.

I was so nervous.

I felt sick, really sick.

"The votes are in! Okay.... In third place, NOT going to the finals.... Perfect melody!!"

The group broke down.
They left the stage.

"Now, in first place... SHINING STARS! !" The host said.

My heart lifted from the ground.

Everyone was so happy.

So happy, that Rodger kissed me again.

This time I didn't hesitate.

I hugged Daniel so hard he said that his guts just exploded.

The crowd was pretty happy too.

The curtains went down and we headed backstage.

"I'm sorry I pushed you guys to much. I was a little over the edge there." Ms.Terry apologized.
"A little?" Laura said.
"Okay, a lot. But the point is, you guys were AMAZING. Now, to the after party!!!" Ms.Terry said.

"Ms.Terry, do you think you have space for 3 more?" I asked.

"Sure!" She said heading towards the door.

I ran down the stage.

I looked around. The crowd was huge.

"BETHIE!" I yelled. She was at the door.

I ran to her.

"Nice to meet you, Bella." I introduced myself to Gracelynne and Ruthie.

I noticed Sal was there too.

" Hi Sal." I greeted him.

"Do you guys want to go the after party?" I asked.

Double dates and double layered-cake

Just hours before the competition, Rodger had asked me to go on a date with him.

I invited Bethie and Sal.

"I'm so exited." I told Miranda, who was in the edge of her bed upside-down texting.

"Why?" She asked, not looking away from her phone.

"Me and Rodger have a double date." I said.

"Double dates are so cute!" She said, half-knowing what she is saying.

I wore a turquoise dress a little down the knees with some gold stilettos.

"YO STARS! I'm out to a date!" I yelled as I left the suite.

Rodger was waiting for me in the lobby.

He was wearing a tux with a turquoise tie and converse.

"Looking fancy!" I greeted him with a hug.

"I bought the tie and converse just for you." Rodger said.

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah" He said opening the door for me.

He knows my favorite color in the world.

" Did that one hurt?" He asked pointing at my ear in the bus.

"Kind of. Don't get a piercing." I told him

"Oh, trust me I won't" He said.

" Reservations under Rodger, please. Table for four." Rodger said in a fancy manner.



" Are you nervous for the competition?" He asked pushing my chair.
" Heck yeah" I answered.

The seat were SO hard...

It wasn't long until Bethie's sweet voice called my name.

"Hi Beth!" I said, hugging her.

"This is my date, Rodger." I introduced her to Rodger. They shook hands.
"This is Sal." She introduced me to Sal.
"Pleasure meeting you, Rodger." Sal shook Rodger's hand.
"And who is this lovely lady you have brought with you?" He asked.
"This is my girlfriend, Bella" I blushed so friking hard...
He kissed my hand.

"You look SO pretty!" I complimented Bethie.
"You too!" She said as we sat down.

We ordered drinks. I ordered non-alcohol piña colada.

"Sal's nice" I whispered under the menu.
" So is Rodger" Bethie said.

Sal took Bethie's menu and growled.
I thought that was so cute. I smiled.

Then we ordered our food.

Bethie stopped eating.

I felt like saying, What's wrong? But I didn't for some odd reason.

But she ate afterwords.

Her phone beeped.

"Excuse me." She said taking out her phone.

It was an update from facebook.

She got a hand drill from frontierville.

I want one of those!

Dessert was cake. It was SO good.

Bethie said it was the best cake in the world.

Rodger fed me cake. I think he's up to something.

Sal pretended feed Bethie, but failed.

I giggled, it was so cute that Sal was trying to be romantic.

Bethie went to the bathroom, I stood up to follow her but Rodger pulled my hand and nodded.

"Sal, why do you want Bethie to be a cheerleader?" I asked Sal.
"I want to see her in a short skirt." He joked. Rodger laughed but I just rolled me eyes.

I gave him a cold stare.

"Okay, I just feel like I want to spend more time with her. And... it would be cute." He said.

I nodded.

Then Bethie came back.

"Are you okay?" Sal asked Bethie.
"I'm fine" Bethie said.

"I had SO much fun!" I told Bethie and Sal.

They thanked Rodger for paying.

We said good-bye. We headed to the hotel, they headed home.

"Rodger, thank you SO much." I thanked Rodger.
"It was nothing. Anything for you." Rodger said, leaning in for a kiss.

My eyes widened as he got closer.

I wanted to run, but he was hugging me.

And so we kissed.

And we kept walking.

I looked back at Bethie and Sal, they kissed for the first time.

That was SO cute!

Today, was the day.

Today, was the day I would sing my duet in front a big crowd.

And today was the day we were supposed to leave, but we're not!!!!

"Suddenly, I can see what I didn't before.
I don't care what they say anymore

I sang the chorus of my Duet "Finally Falling" By Victoria Justice and that other incredibly hot dude.

"Amazing! The solo! The solo now, HELLO! THE SOLO!" Ms.Terry was over-stressing.

If that's even a word, Ms.Terry made it a word...

Miranda sang her solo,Impossible by Shontelle. The we all did our group song.

And we practiced the routine over, and over, and over.

But now I'm on break. (Finally)

The competition is at 3:00 and we're 5 hours apart.

We've been practicing since 8:00

"Okay, guys. You guys are working really hard so I'm gonna let you guys off for lunch. Bye!"

She escorted us out.

We went for sandwiches.

" So, you enjoying your sandwich?" Rodger asked.

I ignored him.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said.

"Lie." He said

"Not." I said.

"Tired?"

"Yeah." I said

"I didn't know Ms.Terry could be so mean." He added

"I know right!" I agreed.

" I'm gonna get some thing to drink. Want Anything?"

"Iced tea, please." I said.

He walked over to the drink refrigerator.

Two girls walked up to him.

"Hey..." One of them said.

I listened carefully.

" Hey." Rodger said taking a lemonade.

Rodger looked over at me.

I gave him a cold stare.

" Do you want to... you know... hang out?" They asked.

"Hold up." He walked over to me

He took my hand.

"This is my girlfriend, Bella." He introduced me.

They stared in awe.

"Now, does that answer your question?" Rodger pushed his hair out of his face.

The walked away.

Rodger laughed as we walked back to our table.

"What did they want?" I asked.

I knew exactly what they want.

"Me." He said, making me giggle.

"Ms.Terry just called, she wants us back. NOW." Daniel, my duet partner announced.

"Wait!" I quickly walked to the cashier.

" Three hot chocolates, please." I asked.

I gave the cashier dude the money and he quickly fulfilled my order.

I thanked him and walked away.

"Rod, here" I said, giving one to Rodger.

"Thanks." He said.

"Miranda, here" I gave one to her too.

The three of us sipped and sipped all the way to the stadium.

" Bella, drop the hot cocoa, NOW. And get up her. NOW!" Ms.Terry said as I stepped a foot in the stadium.

I quickly put my hot chocolate down in the floor, in front of the seat where I was sitting.

" HURRY UP!" She yelled.

I ran up to the stage with Daniel.

"What in the world took you so long? Those stupid hot chocolate.. right?" She yelled

"No, Ms. Terry... We were eating." Laura dared to say.

"Shut up! And you... START!" Ms.Terry pointed at me.

Me and Daniel performed.

"AGAIN!" Ms.Terry yelled once more.

We did so. And again.

"Ms.Terry, I think we've had enough practice. " Miranda asked, terrified.

" OH REALLY?! Then GO! LEAVE! BUT WHEN YOU FAIL AT YOU PERFORMANCE, DON'T COME TO ME CRYING!" Ms.Terry roared.

Miranda grabbed her back and ran off.

I grabbed my coat and my hot cocoa (That is now cold hot cocoa) And ran off.

"Miranda, she went to far." I catched up with Miranda.
" I know, I'm not sad. I just wanted to leave before she changed her mind." Miranda giggled.

"Bella... I did a reservation... In a fancy restaurant. I was wondering... Are you up for it?" He asked nervously.

"Of course." I said.

When we got to the hotel we left our coats in the suite and went down to the spa.

There I did my toes, my hands... Massage... and much more.

Then we went back upstairs to relax before the show.

Then I called Rodger.

"Babe, you think you can reserve for another couple.. You know, like a double date?" I asked him.

Bethie, are you up for it? :D

~BELLA TAKING OVER OHIO!!!

How is that bad!?

"PILLOW FIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!" Laura yelled launching a pillow at Miranda.

Soon enough everyone was launching pillows at each other.

I got knocked down, but I stood up like a warrior and launched my pillow to Laura's face.

Then she got knocked down, and did the same as me.

Then, the loud ringtone of the hotel phone rang.

We all gathered around the phone.

"Hello?" Miranda asked, out of breath.

"Emergency meeting? Why?" She asked.

"Okay, we'll be there." She hung up the phone.

"Okay stars, emergency meeting at Ms.Terry's suite.

We all quickly fixed our hair and went downstairs to the 2nd floor.

The boys were thee already.

"Okay, girls are here. You stars are probably wondering why we have an emergency meeting."

We all nodded.

" Well, were in trouble. You know, were here for two day right..."

"Yeah..." The stars said in unison.

" I accidentally bought a ticket... A ticket for two WEEKS!"

We all gasped.

" That's really bad... What will we do? I'm gonna be in SO much trouble!" Ms.Terry said.

"How is that bad?" Laura whispered to me.

I shrugged.

"I called the airport... they can't change it. Bwaaah!" She said.

They're was a moment of silence.

"So guys.... the point is.... we're gonna be here for the next to weeks."

Still silence.

I had a frown.

But inside I had a huge smile.

Ms.Terry escorted us out.

She closed the door behind us and the second her footsteps faded, the stars (Including me) erupted like a volcano with happiness.

"Shining Stars are taking over Ohio!" Daniel yelled.

We all packed in the elevator and pressed 12 and 6.

"Dang, what's the weight limit in this thing?" Ronny joked.

As soon as we got to our suites I danced to the phone, and dialed the dog sitter and Gabrielle and announced the news.

I couldn't be happier.

~BELLS TAKING OVER OHIO!

I heart Ohio

I was awaken by Miranda, her light brown hair, her perfect brown eyes, her caramel skin.

It was 7:30. And practice was at 8:00

"OHMIGAWSH!" I said to her.

"What!?" She asked

"Well, I forgot I was in Ohio..." I said.

I rushed to the bathroom and took a shower.

I changed into my jeans and a green tee under a warm white sweater.

"Here, it's still warm." Angelica said with a plate of bacon and eggs in her hand.

"Thanks!" I said already chugging down on the plate.

"BELLA!" Cathy yelled.

"Whaaaaat?" I said with my mouth full.

"Are you going out like that?! It's snowing!" She said

I choked on my bacon.

"No way!" I said running to the windows

"Dang.... Ohio is rushing to winter!" I said

I quickly finished my food and put on another sweater.

It was FREEZING!

The snow fell on my hair, I was happy.

"Brownie, wait up!" Rodger called behind me

"Hey" I said waiting for him.

"I have a surprise for you."

"What is it?" I asked

"Close you eyes" I did so.

Something cold hit me.

"RODGER!!" I said chasing him with a ball of snow!

"I'M GONNA GET CHA!" I said running towards him.

I didn't get him back thought...

We got to the big stadium.

We practiced for 3 hours with no breaks.

Crazy, right?

When we got out it was still freezing... Just more.

"Oh gawsh I'm so coooold...." I said, shivering.

Rodger took off his jacket.

"Don't... Please don't." I said to him

He ignored me. He placed his jacket around me.

"You're gonna get sick!" I said, taking off the jacket.

He refused to put it back on, so I had no choice.

When we got to the hotel I was the only one in the suite.

Everyone else went to the pool or the spa or somewhere else...

So I decided to play Wii.

After playing they're was a soft knock in the door.

I got closer to it, you know like in the scary movies.

I looked through the peep hole.

I could only see a hat...

"Beth Cole, I need to speak to Bella Flynne." The soft voice said

I screamed.

"Come in, Bethie." I said after I opened the door,

She stepped inside.

I was speechless.

My mouth was open to the level of the floor.

I stood there for seconds, as she looked around at the suite.

I shook my head, back to the real world.

I closed the door.

"Do-- Do you want anything to eat?" I awkwardly asked.

"No thanks... I need to talk to you." She smile.

"Let me grab your coat." I said, taking her coat to the hooks.

She sat down in the big tan leather sofa.

I sat down next to her.

"So... What's wrong?" I asked

"Well... Sal, he asked me to be a cheerleader... I don't know what to do. What do you think?" She said.

"A cheerleader... Hmm." I thought.

"I know this might sound stupid, but when I'm stuck deciding I think about the pros and cons."
I said.

"So, the cons of becoming a cheerleader... You'll be popular... People won't see you the same way. Everyone will be staring at you. People might even be scared of you when you walk down the hallways." I listed.

"True..." Bethie said.

"BUT, if you do become a cheerleader, you will be able to watch Sal. You know, making sure he doesn't... well you know.. Cheat... Unless you really trust him?"

I stopped for a second.

"Also, glee. Glee. It won't see you the same way. I'll see you like 'Look!A cheerleader coming to glee."

She gasped.

"Oh and... people won't be your real friend. They just want to be your friend because your popular."

I stopped and looked at her.

" I'm not helping am I?" I said, upset.

"No,no... It makes sense. I don't know." She said.

"But if it you were me, would you take it? Yes or no?" She asked.

"No..." I didn't hesitate.

"Just think about some more." I told her.

"Yeah..." She agreed.

They're was A moment of silence

"Can I ask you something?" She said.

"Anything." I answered

"I want to hear you sing." She said.

"I guess... sure!"

I ran to my room and got my guitar.

I sat down on the couch and tuned me guitar.

I stopped and thought.

"How did you get here?" I smiled.

"Let's say I passed the desk..." She said smiling.

We laughed.

"I have a special song for you."

I sang breakaway by Kelly Clarkson.

She sang along too.

We jammed all along to the song.

"You have an AMAZING voice!" She said.

"Nothing compared to yours." I said.

"I love Ohio. It's so pretty!" I said.

"I love New york, it's SO pretty." She said.

We laughed.

"So did Sal, really say that we wanted to see you in a short skirt?!" I asked.

"Yeah.! He's crazy." She said.

We laughed.

"You know, I still can't believe how Samantha yelled at Bailey! I'm lucky I don't have a big sister!" I showed Bethie my five piercings.

Three in one ear, two in the other.

"Sam would murder us!" She said suprised.

"BELLA! We found this mall! We want to go to--" The girls burst in the door.

"Oh... this is Bethie." I said.

Anyways

After we landed another bus was waiting for us outside of the airport.

The bus took us to the hotel.

The girls had floor 12.
Boys had floor 6!



I gasped loudly.

Every girl stepped inside, we stared around for a few seconds until we all dropped our bags and started running around.

I ran into the bathroom...

It was SO fancy. They're was tiny bulbs around the mirror, the sink was a big bowl... The tiny soap bar shaped like a shell... It was all so pretty....

The moment silence stopped when some girls came in screaming...

I explored the rest of the hotel room... It was SO fancy!

They was 2 different "hall ways" with two room each, one bathroom.

So I shared a room with Miranda in hallway "2".

It was all so pretty.

They're was a wii, so we were all gathered around the T.V. to play some games.

After we played, we ordered room service.

While we waited for dinner we did some prank calls to the boys...

It went like this:
" Hello" A boy answered.
"Halo?" I said.
"Hello? Yeah?"
"Halo who is this?"
"Daniel?" He said.
"Oh hey boy, Is yo auntie!" I said
"AUNTIE!? What are you doing here?!"
"Oh boy, well I was just coming here to see your show! All of yo cousins are here!" I said
"AUNTIE!NO!!!" He said

In the background you could hear:
"Danny who is that?"
"YOU AUNTIE?"

"Sweetie pots I'll be there in like 5 minutes with all the cousins, Okay sweetie?"

"WAIT!! AUNTIE! But--"
We hanged up the phone.

We cracked up for like a minute and quickly put on our shoes and gathered out attack gear.

We quietly ran to the elevator, and went to the sixth floor in a matter of seconds.

We walked to the suite and formed our positions.

When we were ready, we all nodded and Miranda pressed the button.

"Hello Auntie--"

We splashed the boys with water and feathers.

We cracked up!

"Come on, brownie... Gimme a hug!" Rodger said extending his arms.

"No...NOOOO!" I said starting to run.

But he caught me, and I was soon wet too.

We all quiet down and went up to our suites.

Everyone took a warm shower and fell asleep.

I'm almost asleep...

OHIO HERE I COME!!

Gabrielle is still extremely depressed.

Sophia is as smart as possible.

Rodger is still charming and cute.


I scribbled in the back of my notebook, not listening to a word the teacher said.

When all of the sudden the teacher slammed his ruler at my desk.

"BELLA! WHAT WERE WE TALKING ABOUT!?" He roared.

" You weren't talking." I didn't miss a chance, because he would yell at me again.

He sighed, I guess I was right.

He snatched my notebook and looked at the back.

"HOW DARE YOU!!!" He roared some more.

He ripped the back page of the spiral notebook and folded the paper and ripped it with his teeth.

"You don't draw In my room! You don't DRAW IN MY ROOM! Next time I catch you drawing in my room, you get suspended! SUSPENDED!"


"It's not even his room..." Some one whispered in the back.

"SHUT UP!!!!" The teacher turned around.

"Detention." He said.

We all carefully watched him as he sat down. Not saying a word. He bent down and took his shoes off. Then he lifted his feet in top of the large wooden desk.

He put his hands in the back of his head and closed his eyes slowly.

"YOU! Shut off the lights." He opened his eyes.

The room was suddenly darker, the shades were open.

"Put down the shades too!" He harshly instructed.

The boy pull down the shades dark, completely dark.

We stood the for five minutes. And I put my head down.

We haven't had a proper home room in two weeks. TWO weeks.

Ms. Flokenberson has been on a trip, and ever since we've had no homeroom. Just days with just quiet.

The bell rang loudly.
"GET OUT IN THE COUNT OF 10,9,8" He counted quickly.

I got out quickly. My eyes hurt with all the brightness of the hallways.

"DETENTION!" He yelled to a boy coming out the door.

"Brownie!" Rodger said behind me.

"Hey." I said.

We had gym together.

Also did Gabrielle and Margaret.

As we made our way down to the gym a pair of soft hand covered my eyes.

I felt her hands.
"Sophia!?"
"NO, Gabrielle?" I guessed again.

She laughed as she got next to me.

"Rex!" She called Rodger, his nickname that Gabrielle gave him.

"Stop calling me that!" He said.

We walked all the way down to gym.

Or torture.

I got into the girl's locker room and quickly changed.

I came out quickly.

Most boys were still changing, and so was Gabrielle.

I felt uncomfortable, I felt lonely.

I spotted Rodger with two of his friends.

"Ah ha! The weather is really hot over here..." One of the boys said.

He pointed his eyes over to me.

"Oh no..." I whispered to myself.

Rodger and his two friends coming over me...

I thought fast...

I hugged Rodger.

"What took you so long?"

The two boys stared in awe.

They looked at Rodger. He smiled and looked at me.

"Bella!" Gabrielle shouted at me.

I looked at Rodger.

"Catch ya later." He said.

"Hey... Watcha wanna do? " She asked.

"Hula loop competition." I suggested.

And soon we were hula looping our hips off.

When suddenly something hit my hula loop, and fell of my body to the floor.

I turned around and Margaret walked away.

"You're so immature. " I started.

She turned to me.

"You think stopping a hula hoop is SO bad. Oh gosh, I'm so scared she stopped my hula loop! Oh gawsh! That is just immature."

"Shut up. I'm much mature than you." She argued.

"Oh yeah, that's why I wear expensive clothe to gym." I said.

She walked her little self away.

It's true, she was wearing a HOLLISTER shirt to gym. Great...huh?

When gym was over, Me and Gabrielle quickly changed.

Gabrielle left, but me and Rodger stayed for Solo stars. (BTW The name changed, it;s now Shining stars)

"ARE YOU GUYS EXCITED? " Ms.Terry said.

We all yelled loudly.

We have the big competition tomorrow.

"Who hasn't packed yet? Or... Who has to finish packing?"

I raised my hand.

"Okay, you guys just go home, pack up and meet me here by: 4:15, OK?"

She dismissed us and I rushed home.

When I got home I quickly finished packing a bag for my dogs.

I instructed Tina and coconut to step out of the apartment and headed towards the elevator.

I walked to the dog sitter, and quickly ran back to my apartment, took jazz to Gabrielle's house.

By the time I was ready it was 3:40.

I made 3 grilled cheese sandwiches and packed some juice pouches and headed out the door.

I got to the school on time.

"Is Rodger late again!?" Ms.Terry asked as I stepped inside.

"I was the first one here!" He exclaimed coming out of the bathroom.

"Brownie!" He spotted me.

He ran to me and hugged me.

"Okay everyone is here! We're out!" Ms.Terry instructed, heading towards the door.

"Are you exited?!" Miranda walked up to me.
"Totally!" I said.

Since they wasn't that many of us, we had one side to put our suit cases in, and the other to sit.

"Sit here!" I told Miranda.

She came over to me.

We talked and talked about boys, money, and much more.

I fell asleep for like an hour until I was awaken my a loud

"WE'RE HERE!" We took our bags and headed out the door.

They're was the airport.
The awesome shiny airport.

Me, Rodger and Miranda were all hungry.
Everything was extremely expensive.

"Good thing I brought grilled cheese and juice." I said passing out the grilled cheese sandwiches.

And we drank the juice too...

Oh! They called our flight! I'll post when I get there!
