"COLLIN! YOU MESSED UP! START AGAIN!" Ms.Terry yelled.
All the boys groaned.
Ever since the Glee Winter's date came closer, Ms.Terry got overly-stressed.
She made us practice over and over for hours. Even on the weekends.
I was tired of practicing the same thing over and over for weeks. Sometimes I even stormed out, felt like leaving glee.
Yeah.
But glee is a hobby of mine. As of cooking is Felicity's hobby.
Oh, yeah, I still hate her. (:
I watched over at the stage were the boys were so nervous every muscle of they're body shook. I had memorized all they're step.
Turn, step, step, slide, turn, step, step, solo... step,turn...
I counted the steps in my head.
Step, step...
Rodger fell.
My eyes widened.
He stood up quickly and brushed his knee with his hands.
I looked over at Marie and Miranda, they both gave me nods.
I stood up and started walking towards Ms.Terry, who was furiously yelling at Rodger.
I stopped for a minuted, closed my eyes tightly, thinking about how I lost the bet about 'who's gonna tell Ms.Terry she's stressing too much' and continued walking, taking a few deep breaths a long the way, hoping she wouldn't flood me with anger.
"I TOLD YOU THAT IF YOU WEAR--"
"Ms.Terry..." I interrupted her.
She took a loud, deep, breath, and turned around.
"WHAT?" She hollered.
"Ms.Terry, -ummm- we have -ummm- practiced a lot since December and we've worked very hard, and we want to let you know that we think you stressing a little too much..And that we'll be--"
"OH REALLY?" She interrupted.
"SO..." She clapped once and looked at the girls, who were sitting in the crowd.
"So y'all think you don't need anymore practice?"
She laughed and turned to the boys, in the stage.
"Okay! You guys are going to LOSE if you don't practice more! YOU'LL GET USED TO THE STEPS AND WON'T MESS UP NOT A BIT IN THE REAL THING!"
I looked at the boys, then at the girls.
"It's okay Ms.Terry, we'll keep prac--"
"NO! YOU WILL NOT!" She interrupted.
" 'YOU GUYS DON'T NEED MORE PRACTICE!' " She said, in a rude, mimicky-voice.
"Get out! Get out!" She put one hand on her hips and pointed at the door with the other.
We grabbed our stuff and headed into the empty hallways.
" I'LL WATCH YA LOSE AT THE REAL THING!" Ms.Terry yelled, heading the opposite way.
Just weeks before we referred the Winter Finals as 'The real thing' since -ahem- we've been practicing on stages for almost a month, which may or may not feel like 'The real thing'
I struggled to put my coat on while walking, -jeez- it was hard.
Some one grabbed my bag behind me and helped me into my coat.
"Thanks, Rodster." I gave Rodger a side hug.
A phone rang behind us.
The familiar ring tone of "Yellow Submarine" played,Marie's phone, I thought.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Yes! Wait what, No!" She yelled,
"You say yes, I say no!" I heard Laura sing in the distance.
"You say stop, and I say go go go ,Oh no!" Rodger twirled me.
"You say goodbye, and I said Hello..." I sang.
"Hello,Hello!" The glee club sang.
"SHUT UP!" Ms.Terry walked past us quickly/
I rolled my eyes.
We went our separate ways, Collin went with Marie and Laura, the rest of the boys went uphill, i went downhill with Miranda, although Rodger doesn't go our way, he'll tag along.
"Ello Gov'no!" He said.
"Ello, would ye like some fish-n-chips mate?" I joked.
I looked over Miranda, who was obviously feeling awkward.
I walked on her right.
"So Dawhling! I've heard Rodger has a FAWBOULUS gawlfrend!" I glanced at Rodger.
Miranda giggled.
"Oh yes, she's the FAWBOULUS, allrighty! But sweetie, I've heard you've got some bawfriend, quite yourself! Why don't we go to a double date, my dawhling?" Rodger twirled me around.
"I wouldn't go arranging any thing with out permission my Dawhling. You'd have to tell Sir Daniel farst!" She twirled around.
"Excusemoi, but I would have to go tis way today, I'm going to see my friend, See ya Dawhlings!" She waved goodbye.
Rodger and I twirled all the way to my apartment.
Christmas music played in the elevator.
"Really? Christmas music? That was like two weeks ago!"
I giggled.
I looked through my bag for my keys.
"Gosh, I left my keys inside."
"Well, isn't Liz in there?" Rodger said.
"Right..." I said, knocking loudly on the door.
Loud music was playing.
"Coming!" I couldn't recognize the voice over the music.
The door opened.
My jaw dropped.
One of...-gulp- Margaret's clique girls stood in the door way of my doorway
I glanced at Rodger from the corner of my eye, his mouth made a big O.
I burst past her to the radio, turning it off.
"GET OUT!!!" I yelled at the girls -including Margaret- surrounding a -The game of life- game board.
"No! They won't get out!"Felicity stood up, her long red/brownish hair in a long braid.
"It's also MY house!" She yelled.
"EXACTLY! It's MY house too! So they're getting out!" I yelled back.
"NO! They're staying. You could leave." Felicity pushed me.
Luckily, I fell into Rodger's arms.
"Can you stay, Rodgie?" Margaret played around with Rodger.
Rodger walked away from her.
Tears started to build up in my eyes.
I ran.
Rodger caught my in the hallways of my building in his arms.
"Listen Brownie." I looked up at him.
" You'll be fine." He said, kissing my forehead.
Let's pray I won't end up with bright red lipstick and whip cream all over my face tomorrow morning.
