I hummed 'Moment 4 Life' as the sound of the smooth voice played in my ears backed-up with a beat.
Ashleigh walked inside the pale blue room with her robe and her black&blue hair wrapped up in a mountain of a towel.
Her face, serious, annoyed... upset, probably.
"What's wrong?" I asked, curious.
" Mom, mom and dad are fighting. again," She said.
" Oh no. Is it bad?" I asked.
"See for yourself," She said, pulling the towel off her head, revealing her wet hair.
I crawled out of bed and quiet tip-toed to Ma&Dad's room.
They were yelling, yet I didn't understand anything.
My ear found it's way to the door.
" Joel, we will NOT move! I promised Bella that we'd stay here!" Ma yelled.
" This is important, Emma! We're are moving and that's it!" Pa yelled.
" Okay, so you make me break Bella's heart and accuse me of things I didn't do?! I'm done with you, Joel!" Ma yelled, her footsteps came closer.
I ran quietly to my room, slowly shutting the door behind me.
"We're moving, AGAIN." I said, upset.
Ashleigh looked at the floor.
" It can't be." I sat down.
" What if they, like, divo--"
"DON'T SAY THAT!" I snapped.
I heard yelling.
I slowly opened the door of my bedroom.
" You don't understand! Bella, she's just getting used to it here!" Ma argued, tears running down her cheeks.
"She doesn't belong here! SHE WANT TO BE FAMOUS. SOMETHING BIG. I want her to be a lawyer, a real state agent, Something else than a crappy career." Dad argued.
"NO you won't! You can't!" Ma argued.
' Well guess what? She is! THAT'S IT!" He yelled louder.
" I hate you, you will not take my Baby's dreams!" Ma yelled, placing down a cup.
I slowly closed the door behind me and flopped to bed.
Asheigh and I did nothing.
Nothing.
We didn't sing. Dance. Do our hair. nothing.
We just laid there.
Waiting for normal.
Waiting for our family back.
After a minutes, Ma came in.
" Ashleigh, Bella, hey there." She smiled, like nothing ever happened.
Her voice, softly spoken, joyful, but painfully stabbed.
We looked up.
" We're having a family meeting. Hop on from bed, girls." She smile brightly, underneath a sad face.
We walked to dining area, where dad sat at the end of the table the dim light on his face.
We sat down.
Not a word.
" Girls, I have some exciting news for you." Dad smiled.
His smiled was perfect.
He overachieved Ma.
Why shouldn't he be?
"We're moving!" Ma said, happily.
" YEAH THAT'S GREAT NEWS!" I yelled.
"Bella, Calm down, sweetie." Dad said.
"NO.I WILL NOT. BECAUSE YOU WANT ME TO BE A FRIKING REAL STATE AGENT OR LAWYER, BUT GUESS WHAT? I WILL NOT BE. I'M GOING TO BE WHAT I WANT TO BE,NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY!" I snapped.
" Sit down, now Bella!" He argued.
" NO I WON'T! I'M GOING TO LIZ'S TOMORROW MORNING! I HATE YOU!" I yelled at dad, and stumbled off ignoring his "Come back here now, young lady!" and "I'm disappointed in you!" and mom arguing with him.
I stumbled in my room, slammed the door behind me and locked it.
I muttered a few *censored* words to myself until I picked up my phone.
I dialed the number.
As the familiar tone ran, I flopped down in the bed.
"Hello?" Rodger's voice.
"Hey Rodger." I said, crying a little.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I'm going back home." I said.
" Wait, you are?!" He asked.
"Yeah. My mom and dad are arguing, plus they're moving. I'm in no world start to move around so much again," I said.
"When are you coming back home?" He said, excited.
" Tomorrow. I have to call Liz, okay babe?"
" Okay, call me on some info." He hanged up.
I dialed Liz' number.
" Hey Bella!" She said.
"I'm going back home, no questions asked." I said.
" But--"
"No questions. I'll see you tomorrow." I said.
" Are you sure? What about you mom? Does she know? I don't want to be any trouble, Bella." She said.
" Don't worry about them. Bye." I said, hanging up the phone, not letting ask anything else.
I furiously pulled the suitcase out of my closet leading some crap to fall in top of me. I carelessly threw everything back inside.
I managed to stuff things in the suitcase with out hesitation.
"Bella, baby." Ma knocked on the door.
"GO AWAY, I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU NEVER THE LESS DAD!" I yelled-
" We have to talk to you, Bella." Ma said calmly.
I stood up and walked to the door. I unlocked it and flew under my covers.
I felt my mom and dad sit at the edge of my bed.
" Bella. We agreed on something." Ma said.
I peeked out of my covers a little bit.
I saw Ma's face.
Wet. Red. Pale.
Like she's been crying for the longest time ever.
" You'll be moving back in with Liz." Dad said.
A little joy filled inside me.
"As long as you want." Ma smiled.
I could tell Ma and Dad didn't agree on that one. Dad hesitated a little.
" You'll leave tomorrow after school. I'll drive. Now, hop up, you guys don't want to be late for school!" Ma clapped, happily, for once in this day.
I climbed out of my bed, quickly applied make-up, and left.
Outside, I saw Gabrielle.
I haven't talked to her.
Ever since the 'Accident'.
But I knew I had to.
But I didn't have the guts to.
No way.
I quickly passed her, hoping it wasn't TOO obvious that I wanted to walk past her.
"Bella!" Gabrielle said.
Darn it, I thought.
"Bella, I have to talk to you." She said, catching up to me.
"Honestly, I do too." I said.
" I should of believed you. I found Collin making out with some girl. I should of really listened to you. I'll promise I'll always take you advice--"
"It's ok.He tried to kiss me, by the way." I said.
Gabrielle shook her head.
" Anyways.. Umm.. I have to tell you something," I said.
"What?" She asked.
"Well, I'm moving. Back with Liz." I said.
She looked down.
" Ma and Dad are fighting again. And it's really bad. Plus, my dad wants me to stop believing in my dreams. And we're starting to move around." I said.
" You know I hate moving around. " I added.
"I completely understand. My mom said I was better off living over there rather than here. So, I'll find a place soon." She smiled.
It was going to be ok.
Only the fact that I made to amazing friends here.
Dawn & Aria.
That I'd have to be away from Ashleigh.
That I'd have to break my parent's hearts.
That my parents might divorce.
Of getting that phonecall. To hear the bad news.
I walked to school with Gabrielle.
Afraid to announce the news to Dawn & Aria .
Right after I'd created the first Glee club.
Great.
I caught up with Aria.
" Ari!" I yelled.
"Oh, Bella!" She said, walking to me.
"I'm so sorry I called you all those names! I mean, I'm over him--"
"It's ok." I interrupted.
"Well, that was easy." She said, smiling.
"But I have bad news." I said.
"What?"
"I'm moving. I'm so sorry! I know I was the vocal instructor in Glee club, but my mom and my dad and... life!" I said, almost crying.
" That's HORRIBLE!" Dawn yelled behind us.
I turned around and saw Dawn munching on a bacon and egg sandwich.
" It is." Aria said, evidently upset.
" If you can be the vocal instructor? I'll teach you some vocal exercises, you know?"
" OK. I'll doubt theirs going to be a Glee Club for long, anyways," She said.
"Thank you so much, Aria," I hugged her.
The rest of the day went fine.
Normal.
Except that I was always with Dawn,Aria & Gabby.
"Welcome to the first ever Glee club." I said, that afternoon.
"My name is Bella and I'll be your vocal instructor just for today.
"And my name is Aria and I'll be your director and vocal instructor for most of the time." She smiled.
" okay, why don't we start off by hearing each one of you sing?" I smiled.
I looked over at the crowd.
4 girls. 2 boys. Wow.
" Introduce yourself up there first." Aria added.
One of the girls stood up, climbed up the stage, stopped to talk to Dawn, who slightly nodded, and walked over to the microphone.
" My name is Rachel and... I'm gonna sing paparazzi." She said.
The song started and she sang.
Her voice was to strained.
We clapped and she climbed down.
Then we met Genny, Elize, Thomas, and Julio.
"Great. Now, follow along with these vocal exercises. I will do it first, then you."
I sat down in the piano and played the notes.
"Ah, ah, ah ,ah ,ah ,AHHHH!"
The whole club sang.
After Glee, I had a sleepover with Aria, Dawn, And Gabby.
And I've never been so glad to go back home.
