"I have great news for you!" Ms.Terry clapped twice.
We all silenced carefully.
I wondered what she would say.
"We're doing a song in the winter talent show!" She said happily.
"WHAT?!" I smacked my forehead, realizing that I had just said that out loud.
"What is the problem, Ms.Flynne?" She said.
Boy, how much I hate when some one says my last name.
"Oh, nothing. I just think I won't sing...." I said in a quiet voice.
"Well, why not? You're ama--"
"MARGIE HERE! SORRY I'M LATE!" Margaret busted through the auditorium doors.
"Margaret, Sweetie, you only been here once. Two weeks ago. Are you sure you want to be in Glee?" Ms.Terry asked.
"Of course I want to be in Glee-- Where's Rodger?" She stopped.
"Oh, he's in the hospital. He broke his leg and an arm." Ms.Terry explained to Margaret.
"Oh, you know what? I forgot my mom was going to take me-- umm--- shopping!" She forced a fake smiled and twirled around.
"Wait, Marge, can we hear you sing? Introduce your self."
"If you really want to, then, KAY!" She dropped her bags and clicked her heels up the stage.
She touched the microphone.
"Kay. Hey glee people. My name is Margaret Elinor Smith. The first."
We quietly chuckled.
"And I love to sing and model and ya know make-up and boys yadda yadda yadda... Can I leave now!?" She yelled.
"No. You may sing though." Ms.Terry smiled.
"KAY! Please put Tikky tokky my Ke$shy!" She spoke loudly.
"TIIIIIK TOOOOK on da clock DK blow my speakers up tonight Ima fight till I see the home liiigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She sang horribly.
"THANK YOU!" Ms.Terry interrupted her.
"YAY!" She jumped up and clapped.
"SEE YA, SUCKAS!!!!" She ran down the stairs.
"Ya know what? I'm going to stay here and hear everyone fail at singing. Teehee. No one and I repeat NO ONE sing betta that muah." She sat down to seats away from me.
She rolled her eyes at me.
"Bella, you will go first." Ms.Terry announced.
"Ew." Margaret said loudly.
I rolled me eyes.
"My solo, please." I whispered to Collin.
As I sang I carefully watched Margaret, who was not paying attention--or at least not trying too--- As she looked carefully at Collin.
Ms.Terry clapped loudly.
"Whatevssss" Miranda stood up and walked over to Collin.
Without saying a word she kissed him for a long time.
She took his hand, picked up her jacket and hollister bag, and the both strolled out the auditorium.
Ms.Terry shook her head is disgust. She mummered a few words under her breath.
"When will Rodger be back, Bella boo?" She asked me.
She has like 2000000 nicknames for me.
Bella-Boo, Bellita, Beauty, BellyBell, Jolly Bell, Bellinda,Belle, and many, many more.
"Hopefully today." I smiled.
"Okay let's do our group dance!" She announced.
"Ms.Terry, may I be excused for today? I have to HAVE to check on Rodger."
"Sure, sweetie."
I quickly put on my coat and headed out the door.
I stopped by my apartment to drop my bag off.
On my way to the hospital I mailed the package.
On my wail out the door I bumped into some one.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking... I didn't mean to" I said, looking up.
A burnette dude stood there, looking down at me.
"Hey, aren't you that Bella girl?"
"That's me." I smiled.
"You're an amazing singer."
"Thank you."
"I'm Max. Acutally, Maxwell, but I hate my name." He said.
"Cool. Well, I gotta head off. You're really sweet." I headed out.
I waited for half an hour until the bus arrived.
I sat down in an empty seat next to some guy eating a burrito.
It was a long ride.
A lot of people wore hats.
Except the people who cared about fashion rather than dying of hypothermia or getting sick.
I counted 4 pink ones,one teal, 8 black, 4 gray, and 2 yellow.
I was in the middle of counting the greens when my stop arrived.
I thanked the bus driver and got off the bus.
I have no idea why I just had to thank the bus driver.
I think it sounds polite.
Being polite is good, isn't it?
Specially for person who has a horrible life.
A.K.A me.
I stepped inside the big entrance of the hospital.
A pregnant lady, most likely giving birth, was screaming being rolled across the waiting area.
What a peaceful waiting area, eh?
"Hello. I'm here to see Rodger. Rodger Lucas." I answered her.
She scrolled through her computer.
"Room 246 to the right." She answered politely.
I followed her directions and found my way to the a white door that said "ROOM 246"
I slowly opened the door.
He was there, trying to stand up with the help of a nurse
A big smile lit his face when he saw me.
"BROWNIE!" I ran over to him and hugged him tightly.
"I guess you don't need my help after all." The nurse smiled.
"I leave you two here." I smiled at her.
" How's you leg?" I asked him.
"Painful, I guess." He said.
I felt horrible. It was all my fault. He just had to save me. Just had to.
We sat down.
"You know, I've been doing a lot of thinking..." I held his hand.
"And I hate to say this but...." I panicked.
"But... I make your life harder. I mean... you worry so much about me, I worry so much about you, that we barely worry about ourselves." I spoke after a few seconds of silence.
"I made you break a leg and wrist. You can't have the freedom to date random girls you see in the hallways... you don't have freedom." I continued.
"But I love you, you love me... I don't get it." He said, confused.
"Yes, I love you. I love you so I want you to have the freedom every boy wants."
Tears filled my eyes.
"But I stood in front of that car in purpose. Why? Because I love you. Bella, Please, Please don't break up with me."
Tears brung my eyes.
For a few seconds I did more thinking.
Which I hate doing, by the way.
"You know.... If you think this is a good idea, then I think it's a good idea." He said before I could say a word.
I weakly smiled.
I stretched up and gave him our last kiss.
"From now and on, just friends." We awkwardly shook hands.
I stood up, and walked away.

aww Bella!
ReplyDeleteI hope you and Rodger eventually date again, but for right now, it probably would be better if you two were friends.
Good Luck :]
