I softly chewed in to the pieces of cheerios in my mouth.
I was sitting in the dining table, having a typical morning breakfast of milk and cereal in my jammies.
I counted the cheerios floating in the pool of milk as I stuffed another spoonful in my mouth.
"BELLA! HAVE YOU SEEN MY EYESHADOW PALLET?" Liz yelled from her room.
I could almost visualize Liz searching through her drawers like a starving person looking for a crumb of bread.
I stuffed the last spoonful of chocolate goodness in my mouth, when the bell rung at the front door.
I quietly groaned and wiped my mouth with a napkin. I heard Liz loudly groan.
I walked over to the door.
Took a deep breath and looked through the peep whole.
Oh.my.frickin. gawsh.
"MOOOOOM!!!!" I yelled, as I swung the door open.
I jumped into her arms.
"Bella baby!" She hugged back.
I didn't let go of her.
Jimmy and Coconut quietly greeted each other, running inside to play.
"Gee Bella! You are SO tall!" She exclaimed, rubbing the top of my head.
I closed the door and leaded her to the sofa.
"Love the new hair-do, ma." I said, slowly examining her short hair.
"Aha, you must be Felicity!" Ma stood up and greeted Liz, who was already fully dressed, including make-up and all.
"Nice to meet you Mrs.Flynne" Felicity let go of ma.
"Please, call me Emma!" Ma laughed.
"Would you like tea, coffee? Breakfast is still hot would you like some?" Liz smiled.
'Oh yes please, with a nice cup of tea. You are so nice!" Ma smiled back.
" So ma, so why are you here? I mean, you want to see me..." I akwardly giggled.
She sat down. That's never good.
"Uh, sweetie, you'll never guess this." She sounded half excited half- nervous.
"Your dad found a nice job back in Jersey, and I also found a teacher spot in a school near there. We're gonna be there for the next few years!" She continued.
"That's nice!" I said.
My family has always been moving around. I mean, all over the place.
My dad is a real-estate agent and my mom is a teacher.
I was tired of moving around so much, so I stayed in New York.
"And we are living in old house!" She said, exicited.
'Old house' was the house I was raised in. Dad bought that house just two years before I was born. We've had all along, just in case we moved back to jersey.
"Here's the catch.... We're taking you with us." Ma said.
My heart skipped a beat. No.
NO.
I would leaving my almost-good life behind just to start over?
No. I'm not being the new girl.
Nooo, I'm not gonna be the weird girl who is lonely and unpopular and never talks to anyone.
No.Just no.
"Ma! Please don't make me! I don't want to go! My life is great here!" I begged.
She gave me the stare. The stare that shows that you should not disagree with your ma.
"Listen, Bella baby, today I'll go over to the school with you, I'll tell them, you go say bye to your friends and have you last day at Anastacia arts, okay? She explained.
I found the floor with my eyes.
"Fine." I walked away, passing Liz who was holding the tray.
My eyebrows began to twitch. My eyes began to water.
"Bella,Bella!" Liz hugged me.
I could feel her crying too.
"What's going to happen to you?" I asked her.
"I'll stay here, I'll watch you stuff. Oh, Bella, it's going to be fine." She said, rubbing my head
"I'll miss you so much, Liz, you have NO idea!" I started to cry even harder.
"Go get ready, Bells, It's getting late." She let go.
I didn't hesitate and stumbled into the bathroom.
When I was done I found Ma complementing Liz's tea.
"Ready?" Said Ma.
"Yeah." I said, sniffling.
Ma grabbed he purse.
I walked over to my room and grabbed my bookbag and headed out the door.
"You know, Isabell is in town, with Gabs." Ma said in the elevator.
"Hey that's good!" Liz said.
"Yeah." I smiled.
The whole ride to school was pretty silent.
I examinated the streets for the last time. I began to cry again.
As we stepped into the main office, the sweet smell of home made brownies and febrees filled the air.
My mom talked to the secretary.
I peered out the big door and saw Rodger.
"Ma, see you later!" I ran.
My eyebrows began to twitch again.
My eyes began to water.
"Rod!" I yelled, and leaped into his arms.
I cried over his shoulder.
"Bella, What's wrong?!" He asked, suprised.
I began to cry louder.
I felt students to stop and stare, and walking away.
"Bella, speak to me." He said, pulling me away.
"I'm--" I started.
"I'm moving!" His arms loosened of suprise, causing me to hug him again.
I could feel his sadness, yet he didn't cry.
"Well, Where?" His voice sounded more serious.
"Hoboken." I answered.
"Well, it's not so far away." He said, hugging me back.
"Omigawsh what's wrong?!" Sophie walked over to us.
I leaped into her arms.
She hugged me back slightly.
"She's moving to Jersey." Rodger answered, knowing that I didn't have the stregnth to say it myself.
Miranda was sad too.Very.
Rodger promised me that I would have the best last day ever of school.
My teachers were exorbitantly nice to me today. Even Ms.Hass, the evil literacy teacher.
That worst thing to see in school is your teacher cry. Ms.Johnson, the science teacher, actualy cried. She have me a pair of gogles.
I announced the news to Ms.Terry, who announced it the whole glee club.
The whole glee club was devastated.
I was engulfed with complements of my singing.
"Wait! I was going to tell you guys today that we were having an award show February 14 for a few glee club in the states around us." Ms.Terry said.
The glee club cheered.
"Bella, would their be a possibility that you could come?" Ms.Terry turned to me.
The whole glee club looked at me with begging eyes.
"I'll be there." I smiled.
"Great! Here are the invitations!" Ms.Terry passed out the invitations.
You are invited to the annual Glee Club award show 2011!
The event will be taken place in Anastasia Multi-Media arts academy , February 14,2011 in Auditorium 2. You are welcomed to bring anyone! Please dress formally!
We spent rest of Glee club normally, singing songs and melodies, enjoying ourselves.
As I gathered my things to leave, Ms.Terry put her hand over my shoulder.
"Bella, we'll really miss you. Very much!" She hugged me.
"I'll miss you too, Ms.Terry." I said, letting go of her.
Ma had given the glee club permission to stay over for a mini good-bye party.
They gathered around me in the couch, remembering.
Remembering as in:
"Hey, do you remember when Miranda was taking of her purple eyeshadow and she looked like she had a purple eye?" Laura giggled.
"Do you remember when you tripped on practice and Ms.Terry tripped like a second after?" Rodger laughed.
Remembering. Like that. Remembering the moments we had together.
At the time they had to leave my eyes began to tear up again.
"Oh, Bells don't cry!" The glee club did a group hug.
"I'll see you the fourteen guys!' I waved.
Some of them waved back or smiled.
Rodger stayed.
"I guess this is good-bye..." I softly said to him.
I started to sob. Again.
"I'll come tomorrow." He said, his voice shaky and sore, I could tell he couldn't say anything else.
"Okay." I hugged him, and the elevator when down.
I walked slowly back to the apartment door.
"Oh Bella, you'll see them once in a while." Ma hugged me.
I walked over to my room, were Liz had already taken out the luggage from my stuffy closet.
Her make up was all gone, her face was pale, red indentations here and there.
She had been crying. Too much.
"Hey" I said quietly.
"Come on and get packing" She sniffled.
We packed up my favorite clothing, shoes and more.
She didn't say a word.
"Thank you, Liz." I said.
She wasn't just crying because I was leaving. Everything she saw my mom her nose would get red, her eyebrows started twitching.
"Liz, you aren't just crying because I'm leaving." I said, at the doorway of her room.
She did say anything. She just continued to scrabble around the corner of her room.
"Liz.." I said, stepping in her room.
She sat on her bed. I positioned next to her.
"Talk to me Liz." I said.
"My mom--" She started.
She burst into tears.
I hugged her.
"My mom, she died in a car accident a few year back. I really miss her!" She said, hugging me tighter.
"Oh gawsh, I didn't know! I'm so sorry Liz!" I layed my head in top of hers.
"Bella don't take granted of you mom or dad. Don't, Bells." She said.
"I won't Liz, I won't" I said, crying too.
"Bella go to sleep, Kay? Gotta get ready for your big day tomorrow." She said, a little more cheerful, yet still her voice was soar.
I slowly walked back to my room.
I sat on my desk, rubbing Jimmy's fluffy head, he must be enjoying this time for that anything.
Snow everywhere, traveling, he's the luckiest Husky ever.
Tomorrow I would see my dad, my sister, whom both I haven't seen in almost a year. My childhood house. My room with the green walls. Spending time with my dogS.
Worst thing though, Brand. New. School.
Hey, I'm Bella, the new kid again.
