My friends and family, and those who I left behind.

"Bella Baby, wake up." Ma's sweet voice startled me from my horrible nightmares of my new life.

I shook awake.

"Thanks, ma" I said, rubbing my face.

"Nightmares?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said, hopping out of bed.

I went to the bathroom and took a shower, and changed into a pair of gray sweatpants and a green t-shirt with the words "AEROPOSTALE" in grey and "1987" in navy.

I wrapped my hair in a high bun, securing it with a large black scrunchie.

"Morning, Liz" I said, patting Liz on the back.

" Good morning, Bella." She said, handing me a plate of turnkey bacon, Pillsbury croissants, and egg over easy.

"Thanks" I said, taking the plate to the dining table.

"Everyone's excited for the super bowl today... " Ma said looking up from her Nook color.

"I'm not." I muttered.
Liz gave a stare.
I shrugged.
At this moment I was extremely mad at my mom for wanting to move me back with them.
But who knows what this will bring?
I dunno, doom?
Sorry, I'm not such an optimistic person.

The door bell rang.
My mom looked up at me.

"I'll get it." She said, laying her nook safely on the table.

"I'll get it, mom" I gave her a stare.

I walked over to the door.
I looked through the peep hole.

"Rodger?" My voice risen.

"I told you I was going to come." He said, hugging me.

"Morning, Rodger, would you like some breakfast?" Liz said, standing up already heading to the kitchen.

"No thanks, Lizsters." He replied.

"Coffee? Tea?" She said.

"LIZ." I said, my voice serious.

We all sat at the table.

"So Rodger, what are you interested in?" Ma asked.
I looked down at my plate, hoping Rodger didn't recognize my embarrassment of my mom's stupid questions.

"Umm, I like playing guitar, umm football,I guess?" He replied awkwardly.

"Just like Bella baby here! My husband LOVES football! He actually played football as a kid, he was going to--"

"Ma, please." I said, looking up from my plate.

She stopped and smiled at Rodger.

"Oh would you look at that! Hurry up and eat Belle, if we don't leave soon, we'll be stuck in traffic." She said, looking at her watch.

"Understood" I said.

I didn't want to eat quickly. I rather wanted to eat slowly. Yet my appetite wasn't working with me.

"Eat your bacon, at least Bella." Liz said.

"I'm not hungry." I said, picking up my plate.

"C'mon you love turkey bacon." She insisted.

"Liz, I'm sorry but I'm just not hungry." I said, dropping the plate in the sink.

"Rodger, would you mind helping me bring those downstairs?" My mom said, struggling with some suit cases.

"Sure, Mrs.Flynne." Rodger said, picking up one of the suitcases.

I smiled. His attempt at being a good role model was working, but he didn't have to try, he already was.

"Bella get ready will you?" She said, leaving the apartment.

I grabbed my coat and my scarf, looked at Liz, who already had her coat on.
I took a last look at my room, It still looked the same, except the closet wasn't turned upside down, all my stuff from my desk wasn't there, and my pillow pet and pillow weren't in place.

I walked down to Liz, who was already waiting for me in the elevator as well as Rodger and ma.

As soon as we got downstairs, Rodger and ma stuffed the suit cases in the trunk and I positioned coconut in the back seat of the car.

"I'll leave you too alone." Ma got in the car, Liz followed her.

I didn't dare to meet eyes with Rodger.
He held my hand and took me inside the building.

"Rodger..." I began.

"I'll really miss you." I said as I burst into tears and flew into his arms.

"I will too." I couldn't tell if he was crying, but I was sure he wasn't.

"Listen, Bella. I'll try to visit you as much as I can." He said.

Our eyes locked.

I burst into tears again.

My mom honked the car.

"I'll miss you, Bella." He said, leaning in.

Our lips joined, for about three seconds later we let go. His hand folded in mine, he walked me over to the car, hugged me a last time, and backed up.

Liz got out of the car, crying.

"I'm sorry for everything I've done, I was really stupid and you didn't deserve to be treated like--"

"It was nothing, Liz." I hugged her.

"I'll miss, you Flynne." She said.

"I'll miss you, Merriman." I said, getting into the car.

I gave a final wave, and mouthed the words "I'll miss you" as the car took off.

I slept for the whole car ride, until my mom woke me up.

"Bella, we're here!" She said, her smile wide.

Suddenly all the anger and sadness faded away, as I saw my childhood house standing right behind my mom.

"Now Bella if you would help me pull out these--" Ma's voice faded as I ran towards the house.

Coconut and Jimmy ran behind me, barking.

The twisted the door knot, which was locked.

I ran toward the familiar route to the backyard, opened the back door and saw my house.

Everything was still in boxes, but I could still see the furniture.

Living room with yellow walls, tan leather long sofas, clear/silver T.V. stand.

The music blarred from my room, but I was distracted from my room by my dad, who stood in the kitchen.

"DAAAAAAAAD!!!" I jumped in his arms.

"I missed you, Bella!" He said, hugging me tightly.

"You've gotten so tall!" He said.

"Thanks!" I said.

"Boy, have you grown, I heard you've got a boy back in New york! Ashlee found one, but he was a--"

"ASHLEEEEE!" I ran out of the kitchen to my room.

"ASHHHLLEEEEEE!" I found her in top of the bed, on her laptop.

"ASSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!" I jumped in top of her.

"PRINCESSSSSSSS!" She hugged me!

"OH MY GAWSH! YOUR HAIR IS SO PRETTY!" I pointed out her natural black hair and blue hair streaks.

"YOUR SO TALL!" She said.

"Jeeez, everyone is telling me that!" I laughed.

She lowered the volume on her radio.

"I heard you in the glee crap business." She said.

"Yes, I am, and it's not crap." I smiled.

"Hey, What that necklace?" She asked.

"Oh it's nothing!" I said, hiding the bejeweled 'R' behind my hand.

"What is ittttt?" She asked, pulling my hand away.

"An 'R' huh?" She smiled.

I blushed.

"Who's this 'R' guy?" She said.

"His name is Rodger. He's my best friend."

"Looks to me he's more than a best friend"

We talked for hours, until something came up.

"GABRIELLLLEEEE!" I yelled.

I ran out the house, to my left, skipping two houses.

Landing on the third house from mine's, a brick house, pretty, very.

I gladly knocked on the door.

"Bella!" I heard Isabel's voice bloom from the peep hole.

"It's so nice to see you! I heard from your mom that you were coming back. Gabrielle doesn't know it! Why don't you go to her room and give her a suprise, would ya?" Isabel smiled.

I walked carefully to her room, opened the door, and saw her face expression.

"BELLLAAA FLYNNE!!!" She said, hugging me tighter than ever.

"GABRIELLE TAYLOR!" I tightly hugging her back.

At this point my emotions were mixed. Was I angry that my possibility of becoming something big was left behind? That my boyfriend and my friends were sad that I left?
Or was I happy that I would see my best friend everyday? That I would be talking to my older sister about my problems?
Or was I upset I had to be the new girl again?

Or is my life just split in two?
